Description

Enjoy strawberries, hamburgers and other treats all day long - in the shelter houses by the Gazebo!
This is a great way to support the Lions Club - have some good food (10-6) - and enjoy this fun day!

  • Historical Walking Tour of Jasper - pick up a brochure & walk this all weekend!
  • Historic Schaeffer Barn - view this great structure on E. 4th St. - and reminisce!
  • Spirit of Jasper Train Rides (every hour: 12 – 1:00 – 2:00 – 3:00) $3 per person – all ages. 1/2 hour train ride Sponsored by German American Bank. Get your tickets on this day only – no pre-sales.
  • Jasper City Mill - come into the mill and watch as corn is ground into cornmeal, every 30 minutes. Learn about the history of Jasper and the mill.
  • Patoka 2000 Duck Race - Race will begin at 1:00 p.m. near the Gazebo. Family-fun event - great prizes - proceeds will benefit beautification of Jasper efforts in and around the Patoka River area. Sponsor one plastic duck for $5 or 3/$10 - watch the ducks race down the river!
  • Concert in the Park featuring the talented Danielle Lee Wehr will sing from 2 - 3:00pm
  • 5 – 6:00 p.m. - Will Read (and Sing) for Food will perform for your entertainment – and to raise funds for the Food Bank.
  • Riverwalk - Stroll the 2.1 miles along the beautiful Patoka River - all day long!
