Kyle Eastwood grew up in Carmel, California as the eldest son of actor Clint Eastwood. He remembers listening to records of jazz stars such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Miles Davis while doing his homework. Family outings to the Monterey Jazz Festival became an annual event. Schooled in film, Eastwood realized that his true passion was jazz. With a career spanning two decades and three continents, Eastwood has combined his talents by writing or contributing to film musical scores such as Grand Torino, Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby.
