The American Bus Association (ABA) has named the Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2012. The Dubois County Visitors Center nominated Christkindlmarkt for the honor.

The Dubois County Tourism Commission has hired Kevin Manley as its new Executive Director, effective May 23.

In conjunction with the Dubois County Visitors Center, Huntingburg, Indiana will again play host to the NCBA (National Club Baseball Association) Great Lakes Regional Tournament May 13-15 at League Stadium. The NCBA has such positive experiences in Dubois County that directors and participants chose to come back to Dubois County for the sixth consecutive year.
