Learn about the boyhood years of Abraham Lincoln with tours of the visitor’s center, the burial place of Lincoln’s mother (Nancy Hanks Lincoln), and a stop at the Living History Farm where harvesting and farming currently take place on the same fields Abe and his father farmed nearly 200 years ago. For great entertainment, be sure to visit the Lincoln Amphitheatre, magnificent, 1,500-seat outdoor amphitheatre. (20 miles south of Jasper)
Hours of operation are: 8 AM - 5 PM from early April through late October and 8 AM - 4:30 PM late October to early April.
The Living Historical Farm is generally open mid-April through September.
